Simested Creek

Simested Creek is one of the best streams with sea trout in Denmark and is known for its famous line of perticularily large, self-reproducing sea trout.

The creek, wich is 3-8 metres wide with a moderate to fair current, is a very clean stream with many bends and deep holes. The surrounding landcapes consists of meadows and uncultivated areas.

Apart from the national fishing pass you also need a local fishing pass to be able to fish in Simested Creek. Among other places, the local fishing pass can be purchased at the Aalestrup Tourist Information
