The Primitive Camp Site "Krogen" - Kroager

In Denmark it is only allowed camp on the official campsites, so you cannot just put up your tent anywhere you want.
For those who do not have special requirements for comfort, and who want to live surrounded by nature, Denmark has - alongside the established campsites - more than 1,000 primitive campsites where you can stay overnight.
Cars, caravans, campers, motorcycles and motorized boats cannot access the camp areas.

You are allowed to stay max two nights in each location.

The primitive campsite “Krogen” is located in a small forest east of the old station, Krogager. Along the cycle route 9 between Grindsted and Bramming you will find a sign referring to Krogen. The road from Varde to Billund (via Ansager) crosses bike route 9 in Krogager, where the sign indicating the direction to Krogen is.

Booking: contact by e-mail or telephone or at the local supermarket Min Købmand, Storegade 2, Stenderup-Krogager, 7200 Grindsted.
